2018 DETROIT BASS DAY AND PHOTO AT THE MOTOWN MUSEUM is Saturday, August 25, 2018, we will begin to assemble at 9 am and will take a formal photo at 12:00pm. PARKING IS FREE ALL ALONG W. GRAND BLVD, AND NEAR SIDE STREETS. PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT WITH ALL OF YOUR BASS PLAYER FRIENDS,,WE WILL HAVE BASSDAY 2018 ON THE LAWN OF THE MOTOWN MUSEUM, with SPECIAL GUEST will be BASS LEGEND, BILL “THE BUDDHA” DICKENS DOING A CLINIC AND JAM, ALSO THE GREAT BRAD RUSSELL, THE GREAT KERN BRANTLEY, THE GREAT REGINALD CANTY and starring ALL OF YOU in a tent with a small stage featuring an all day BBQ and an open mic! Food will be catered and dinners will be offered at a small nominal price! THERE WILL BE GIVEAWAYS FROM OUR SPONSORS, Our official stay at the Museum will extend to 4pm, so your opportunity to take casual photos with each other should produce quite a photo album this year! It also widens the window for any of you, your family and your friends to take the Museum Tour! BY ALL MEANS, Make sure you bring your own lawn chair to the shoot, we wanna be sure your bass is the only thing that just has to walk! (Lil BP humor, sorry had to do it!!!!)? There will be more time for you to make new DBP personal friends, share with your families, laugh, play, hug and do what we do best! WE HAVE FUN!!! This years attendance will break records!
