Bill Dickens Signature bass – Interview NAMM

Posted on January 18, 2002 by Bill Dickens in Interviews

Bill (the Buddha) Dickens became a performer/inventor when the speed of his funky bass lines allowed him to do more than the traditional four string electric bass would allow. Working with Cort Guitars, the Bill “The Buddha” Dickens model was designed by Bill and the Cort engineers to get the most out of his talents. As the product sold, it was clear the ideas he had for a 4, 5, 6 and 7 string bass were also desired by many other players and soon a full series of Buddha basses were manufactured.
