Pre-show - The first video is Bill just warming up and getting some levels. He was coming stereo out of 2 giant Aguilar heads and cabs plus numerous pedals which he explained to me was just a tiny part of his full pedal board which my response was...DAYUM!! The second video is Bill running a funk groove off a looper and Leo jumps on it because he had to git some!! In the third video Bill starts funking up Cissy Strut with just him and the looper going...to which Leo and i start cracking up!!
The Mint..Cissy Strut… and a crazy drum solo from Felix Pollard with 3 sticks at one point…which being in back was the perfect place to be….and the rest of the show with Albert Margolis (sorry Al I was on the other side of the stage) on keyboards, Bill Dickens on bass and at the helm..Grammy lifetime achievement award winner and lead guitar player for the Meters Leo Nocentelli!!! I wish you all could have been there to see what I saw and to hear what I heard… but this is the next best thing… The cell phone doesn’t do it justice!!!
