This was a HIT SONG that Bill Dickens co-wrote with Ramsey Lewis featuring Bill on Bass. This song had an enormous amount of air play on R&B radio and was also used on the TV show General Hospitol. Bill was only 22 years old when they recorded it and he played the bass solo on it.
Bill later found out that there was only at that point in time 5 bass players in the history of R&B that played Bass Solos on HIT SONGS and at that time Bill was ONE of them. 😉
