This clip was done back in the day when I used to perform with Grammy, stellar Award Winner Walt Whitman and the Soul Children of Chicago. I did a few records with them as well. I did write a song called, “I’m gonna lift them up”. So as I’m listening to this video and hearing myself on my 7 string Conklin groove tools signature Bass, the song ends with just me (on bass) the lead singer and the choir. I’m playing all these beautiful chords on the seven string Bass. I thought my eyes was gonna pop out of my head, but . . I have to give Credit to Mr. Whitman. He has been a very important part of my life. He’s the one that brought me to Oakdale Covenant Church, and introduced me to Pastor Darryl D. Griffin.
